Production Lighting Lead
Splendor was a circus style production with a storyline that was specific to the city of Wuxi in the province of Jiangsu. As production lighting lead I was the liaison between Dragone / Fivecurrents lighting designer and the head of department and the local lighting-run crew (Sunac) & the equipment vendor (Starlight). I secured items and performed tasks such as acquiring necessary SFX perishables in bulk & spec-ing out a cage installation vendor for SFX, spec-ing out and purchasing electrical hardware such as cable reels, water proof connectors, LED strips, transformers, etc., overseeing power & fixture install in acrobatic rehearsal hall, involved in seeing that more power was installed into the video content processing room, running power to each production department's set up in the house during creation, spec-ing out and ordering wireless dmx equipment, leading the crew in equipment notes from the designer & other moving scenic pieces requiring power & dmx for lighting and special effects.
